District 14 and the My Brother's Keeper Alliance present a day with Zaretta Hammond in exploring the research, rationale, and strategies behind culturally relevant teaching and it's foundation in brain research. This full-day workshop is open to District 14 assistant principals and selected teachers and others by invitation. Schools must purchase the book for their attendees, as it will be referenced during the day. Classroom strategies which can be applied by teachers will be part of the day's training.
