The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) is in the process of developing New York City’s first-ever comprehensive cultural plan: CreateNYC. When it’s published later this year, CreateNYC will provide a roadmap to guide the future of arts and culture in NYC.
As one of the many ways we are finding out how residents CreateNYC throughout the planning process, we invite you to join us for CreateNYC Office Hours with the Commissioner: Disability and the Arts. This discussion is part of an ongoing series of CreateNYC: Office Hours with the Commissioner where we ask the public to drop in and discuss important issues relating to art and culture. This will be an opportunity to discuss disability and the arts with respect to artists, audiences, and cultural workers. Attendees are able to ask questions about issues the plan will address or anything else they wish to discuss with regards to culture in NYC.
